Responsibilities of the role:
- Report directly to the CEO
- Plan, organize and direct the company's financial and accounting functions
- Assist in the Corporation's public and investor relations initiatives
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting practices and procedures
- Ensure that all accounting and financial reporting and accounting practices support and influence future growth
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and analyze financial data
- Ensure compliance with all investment related regulatory and governance requirements
- Plan and monitor budgets and company expenditures
- Prepare reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable process
- Oversee the payroll and compensation process
- Generate and interpret financial information for use by leadership
- Perform a variety of duties as needed related to the finance and accounting of the company
Required Competencies:
- Recognized Accounting designation (CMA or CA)
- Minimum 5 years experience in a related role, public company experience would be an asset
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, forecasting and accounting
- Knowledge of securities, regulatory and compliance issues would be an asset
- Results oriented, critical and analytical thinker
- Effective manager of people, ability to encourage, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement
- Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Able to exercise sound and ethical judgment; consummate professional
- Superior inter-personal skills and communication abilities
- Strong computer skills, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. Experience with Quick books an asset
- Organized and detail oriented, self-starter
- Adaptable and flexible team-player
- Previous experience in a e-business or computer/ software related environment will be considered an asset
Responsibilities of the role:
- Coordinate and oversee the set-up and initialization of distributors to Utilitran's web application
- Coordinate and oversee the EDI / integrations process between Utilitran and the distributor
- Help support change to distributor's business processes, promoting adherence to Utilitran's standardized techniques and data requirements
- Establish and grow and effectively manage distributor level relationships
- Serve as liaison and negotiator between Utilitran and the distributor
- Evaluate customer objectives and provide solutions to generate sales and profits
- Lead and participate in distributor and sales representative training
- Facilitate effective communication and problem resolution between the distributor and Utilitran
- Manage distributor retention, ensuring exemplary service to clients at all levels
- Attain assigned sales/customer service objectives
- Assist in obtaining and developing new distributor relationships
- Assist with the execution of tradeshows
- Work effectively with internal and external teams and personnel to fulfill distributor needs
- Other duties and responsibilities as required by the role
Required Competencies:
- Completion of university, college, vocational or technical training. Equivalent education/work experience will be considered.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a related sales/customer service or technical support role
- Strong knowledge of computers, internet, ERP/EDI systems and related technology
- Excellent problem solving abilities and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively to audiences with varying technical abilities
- Ability to listen, interpret and accurately convey information between stakeholders
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Superior customer service orientation, professional, courteous and tolerant
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Adaptable and flexible team player
- Full fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to accurately keyboard and record information
- Ability to travel extensively throughout Canada
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to work a varied schedule which may include evenings and weekends as needed
Distributor Sales Representative hours of operation are as needed to fulfill the requirements and objectives of the job.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Providing outstanding customer service to clients at all levels
- Coordinating client setup and initializing new customers
- Assisting in the maintenance of the customer accounts and the customer database
- Client training of Utilitran's products, fulfilling customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ongoing communication and relationship building with clients
- Attaining assigned customer service objectives
- Testing, troubleshooting and resolving client problems and concerns
- Assisting with the design and execution of tradeshows
- Working as a team and coordinating with other teams and personnel to fulfill client needs
Required Competencies:
- Minimum completion of college, vocational or technical training
- Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service or related help desk role
- Strong knowledge of computers, operating systems and related technology
- Excellent problem solving abilities and troubleshooting skills
- Full fluency in English both written and spoken, fluency others languages, especially. French, Korean, Punjabi or Hindi will be considered an asset
- Superior customer service orientation with a professional and courteous telephone manner
- Ability to accurately keyboard and record information
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Adaptable and flexible team player
Customer service hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Team members are required to be available to work various shifts within those times and may be asked to be on-call after business hours on occasion.
